Sanctimonious mom lashes out at parents that put their kids in daycare: 'Families literally paying random people to enjoy the best years of their kid's life'

Looking in from the outside, I've got to say one of the least fun parts of being a parent seems to be the guilt. It seems like involved moms and dads are forever wondering if the choices they make for their kids are the right ones, and they don't always get a clear answer. 

They also face judgment from other parents for their choices, as was recently detailed in a controversial Twitter thread. In it, a stay-at-home mom denounced other moms who used daycare services, claiming they were missing out on "the best years of their kid's life". 

While some were in agreement with her opinion, others felt she was bringing shame on other parents in a way that was both wrong and factually incorrect. The reality is, there is no one-size-fits-all all approach to parenting—and so long as you're spending time with them too, it's no bad idea to make sure they are around other kids.

Many two income households only need to be such because they are trying to maintain a certain standard of living.

Perhaps she has to work for financial reasons or wishes to keep her career because she loves her job My kids went to preschool PT and thrived being around other children. Daycare offers some benefits too

    out blind spot @TPS Report • 19 Jun Replying to @mandalynns23 something like this was always normal. families lived close to each other. kids would play with the community (watching them), not requiring parents constant attention. now that we all live in single family homes and don't know our neighbors, fake community is purchased per hour.

    pasiem kone na betóne @Sabrina45X Follow Most people are countering with the economics of it, which is a very real thing, BUT ALSO many children thrive better in school environments AND mothers are allowed to have interests, aspirations and lives outside of motherhood, and to not stay at home or homeschool.
